Generous: here is a term that well describes the famous Lounge chair. Created in 1956 by Charles and Ray Eames, this piece is the result of several years of reflection … «What if we modernized the traditional English armchair?» This question was the starting point of the couple's quest… looking to combine comfort, appearance and quality to meet the requirements of such a piece.
The brothers were successful in answering their question ; the Lounge chair perfectly combines all the desired criteria: extreme comfort, high quality materials and ergonomic design. Its lightness can also be highlighted for a seat of this size. Slightly tilted, its padded back and headrest invite relaxation.
The Lounge armchair has now become a classic in the history of design furniture. Visible in high-end offices and interiors, it imposes a certain charisma and assertive elegance. It is a piece that will dress up the neat arrangements, especially the work spaces. For added comfort, a footrest is also available.
