The history of the Surpil chair started in France in 1927. The inventor Julien-Henri Porché was then looking into the design of stackable furniture, adapted for use in the heart of public spaces: terraces, restaurants, cafes… To respond to the problems of intensive use in these collective places, he embarked on the design of resistant and stackable metal furniture: the Surpil chair was born!
At first functional, this model is also very aesthetic. The assembly of tubes gives it airy and welcoming lines. Now made of aluminum, its structure is particularly light: only 3.4 kg. All these qualities make it an ideal chair for the design of event spaces.
To add a touch of originality, we suggest you customize the seat. This option will allow you to play with color, delineate spaces or simply set the tone for your decor.
